Why PSFoundry exists
A single, independent place for PlayStation performance — built by someone who was tired of hunting through videos and forums to find out how a game actually runs.
From forum threads to a database
Hi, i'm Gianluca! Like a lot of PlayStation players, before buying a new game I spent more time searching for how it ran than reading about what it was. I would open a dozen tabs, skim Reddit threads, jump between YouTube videos, and try to compare frame-rate tests from different channels just to answer one question: “How does this game actually run on PlayStation 5?”
That question became even more important with PlayStation 5 Pro. Some games get a sharper image, some get a higher frame rate, some get both — and others barely change at all. The information was out there, but it was scattered, inconsistent, and often buried inside long videos I did not have time to watch.
So I built PSFoundry: a single database that collects every verified PlayStation 5 performance analysis, graphics mode breakdown, and technical source available online. The goal is simple — when you search for a game, the technical answer should be above the fold, sourced, and easy to compare between PS5 and PS5 Pro.
What we do today
- Search-firstFind a game and see its performance profile in seconds, not minutes.
- Console-specific scoresThe PSFoundry Score measures technical delivery on a specific console, not game quality.
- Cited sourcesEvery verified claim links back to official patch notes, independent technical analysis, or community reports where applicable.
- IndependentWe are not affiliated with Sony or Digital Foundry. We source their work, but we do not speak for them.

PSFoundry is a solo, independent project. Keeping the database up to date means chasing every patch note, frame-rate test, and resolution figure. If you find the site useful, you can offer a coffee — one-time or recurring — to help keep the lights on.
