The 2025 native PS5 upgrade turns Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice into one of the better-optioned remasters on the platform. Three modes are available: Performance runs at 120fps and 1080p without ray tracing, Resolution targets 60fps at dynamic 4K, and Enriched drops to 30fps at fixed 4K but enables ray-traced lighting - the most transformative option for a game built on light, fog and reflections. On PS5 Pro the same three modes run with PSSR upscaling, which cleans up the image noticeably, above all in the low-resolution 120fps mode. The original PS4 release remains a single 30fps 1080p presentation with none of these options.
