Call of Duty: Warzone runs on PlayStation 5 via PS4 backwards compatibility. Due to legacy platform restrictions, the PS5 version cannot support 120Hz output or native 4K, capping out at the PS4 Pro's maximum dynamic resolution of 2716x1528 (1528p). However, the added GPU headroom allows PS5 to deliver a locked 60fps performance. On PS4 Pro, the game targets 60fps using dynamic resolution scaling up to 1528p.

Known issues
If High Dynamic Range (HDR) is set to On or Automatic in the PS5 front-end system settings, 120Hz mode fails to trigger in Warzone. HDR must be turned off entirely to allow 120Hz output.
Taking advantage of the 120fps mode on PS5 requires players to disable HDR before launching the game.
